Located just 20 miles north of Santa Fe and along a one-laned road, a big parrot sign marks the entry to Ranchito San Pedro. This former turkey ranch sits quietly beside the ancient cottonwoods in an old rural neighborhood near Española. (Above right) The Artist/Vacation Cabins peek from behind my studio, more visible in the bare branched winter sun.. (Below left) My studio and gallery, with all the charm of its humble origin as one of the turkey barns. (Below right) The back of my home with its pueblo styling, surrounded by trees. Ranchito San Pedro sits in the midst of an established art community. Just across the road live Nora Naranjo-Morse, a Santa Clara pueblo potter and poet and Michael Naranjo, an acclaimed sculptor. |
