Description

The Watercolor Artist’s Guide to Exceptional Color was written by Jan Hart and published by Walter Foster Publishing in 2007. It was an immediate popular success among watercolor painters because it talked about pigments and paints in addition to color and color relationships. It filled a much needed niche. After three re-printings, the publisher declined to re-print and it is now only available through resellers such as amazon.com and others. With 63 customer reviews, it has kept its 4.6 rating for 10 years. Its availability and its pricing varies continually through amazon.

Jan offers a pdf ebook online version of her book at an affordable price. $29.95 through PayPal.

Someone lent me your book and I absolutely LOVE it! Unfortunately, it’s sold out everywhere. Is there a chance for it to be printed again? I would really like to have it since I only got to borrow it for a short amount of time ;( and I have a low vision and sensitive eyes so looking at a screen for long periods of time hurts my eyes, so the pdf version does not suit me.

Hello Zaira, I am so sorry but there is absolutely no chance it will be reprinted despite a lot of requests for it. The best thing to do, which I have done, is to go to Amazon.com and see if there are resellers offering it. The lowest price I have seen is about $50, but it does come up now and then for that price. I do offer the pdf version through my website, janhart.com – but understand that you might not want to look at a screen. Thanks for your question and for your comment! Jan
