Jan’s Words: Northern New Mexico is ablaze in the fall with the bright yellow chamisa and shows particularly bright against the deep and dark green juniper trees. Sometimes there are purple asters too. This was painted as a demo for a workshop in Cloudcroft, NM and I loved its simplicity.
