Jan’s Words: I remember painting this watercolor sketch of a coconut palm tree across the grass as I sat under the outside covered area at Villa Leonor’s. I used only my ½” wash brush and glazed a bit as I went along. Near the finishing I noticed I had a brilliant pink area in the lower left and I decided to glaze it with Cobalt blue. Suddenly there appeared the loveliest lavender. I was finished!
