Jan’s Words: I painted so many irises during the early 2000’s because they were right there in my garden and so wonderful to paint. This  small one was started and then somehow put away for about 13 years. It was ready for a few final touches! Now I see that it was only a glaze and about four stokes away from being what it was meant to be. And to me it was almost like there was a galaxy beyond it.
