Jan’s Words: It was still early in the morning on the Mesa as we set up our outdoor easels to paint the distant rocks beyond Kitchen Mesa. The light was just right. I got all my undertones down and noticed the path of light. I finished with a few accents and some soft glazes and decided to leave it as it was. Kind of like a dream.
