Jan’s Words: Another demo about painting a white subject – and I selected one of my favorite pigeons from my years in Española, New Mexico. Raoul was white with a few black speckles – and a valiant flyer. Here he is poised and ready to fly. I hoped that the active background would add to the suggestion of flight.
