Jan’s Words: I was intent upon loosening up my students on the first day of a New Mexico workshop when it was apparent that several were nervous. This is the paining – pure play – that came out of that time in 2011. I played with pigments as well as shapes. And out of the play came a fanciful flower medley with lots of movement and rhythm.
